Here’s how I cut the pineapple in just a minute.
For the pineapple to taste good it should be ripe but not over ripe so no moldy or super soft spots. I cut off the top and the bottom. I cut the pineapple in half. Then half the half’s again. At this point I could cut off the hard triangle in the middle, but I like to use it as a holder of my pieces later.
I cut off the rind of the pineapple off saving us much pineapple flesh as possible. Then I slice the pineapple into not too small slices. About 1 cm or 1/2 of an inch.
