My stash

I always try to have a good variety of fruits, veggies, greens, and nuts at home.
If I don’t have a good stash of ripe fruits, the raw food diet becomes super stressful. I would have to search for fruits for every single meal at a store, which isn’t easy. For example, bananas are always sold unripe. It’s almost impossible to find ready to eat bananas the day I want to eat them.

Some foods, like nut butter, have to be ordered online beforehand. So I always have everything I need in my pantry for at least a week, unless I’m traveling. But once I’ve settled in, I make sure to do a week’s worth shopping trip.

Fruits

I always have a good stash of juicy fruits for breakfast and lunch, preferably watermelon, oranges, grapes, or tangerines. Some high-calorie fruits, such as banana, papaya, and dates are also a must-have. Whenever I can, I buy seasonal fruits such as figs, pears, peaches, cherries, and apples. It’s usually enough for me to have one kind of juicy fruits and one kind of calorie-dense fruits. This way, I can rely on local seasonal produce most of the time.
