Peeler

A veggie peeler is one of the most used tools in my raw food kitchen for quick and easy salad prep. Not only does it peel veggies such as carrots in seconds, it also makes raw noodles out of cucumbers and other veggies.

Regular veggie peeler

The regular peeler has a smooth blade and is very sharp. The quality of the peelers varies greatly, the dull ones are absolutely annoying. Try many different peelers until you find the one that works very well. With this peeler, you can create thin fettuccine. Cucumber fettuccine are my favorite.

Julienne peeler

This peeler is perfect for making thin veggie noodles. My favorite veggies to make noodles from are zucchini, carrots, and daikon radish. Be aware, the little peeler teeth can break up! It’s very important to check if they are all still intact before consuming the veggies noodles.
