Berries

Storing

To never waste any berries, I always make sure to store them properly. It’s very important to keep the berries dry. With blueberries, especially if I get them in bulk, I sort out the softest berries and only store the firm ones in the fridge. The soft ones need to be eaten asap or frozen for later use. The firm berries keep for up to a week in the fridge in an airtight container. If I can’t go through them within a week, I make sure to freeze them before they get too soft.

Eating

as a mono-meal or snack, in smoothies, in ice cream recipes, in raw jams, in oatmeal bowls, on salads
