Difficulties

The winter

Starting out with the raw food during the winter in Germany wasn’t the easiest, but it worked out pretty fine. I was forced to figure out how to incorporate lots of veggies into my meals. Had I started out during the summer, I probably would have eaten mostly fruits.

Temptations

There is nothing I would wanna eat that I can’t make a raw version of. Early on, I found the right recipes and the equipment I needed to make almost anything I used to cook in raw. What I couldn’t make myself in the beginning, I found at a store or online. Raw cakes at a raw food restaurant, raw bread online from a small factory, raw ice cream at a vegan shop.
