WHAT IS A MONO MEAL?

for me, a mono meal is eating just one fruit at a time, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or in between

WHY DO I EAT MONO MEALS?

after eating a mono meal I feel nourished, full, but light, & energised
mono meals are easy to make
I can taste every single fruit
mono meals are cheaper as I buy fruit in bulk

MY FAVOURITE MONO MEALS

what I choose to eat depends on where I am, what time of the year it is, and what fruit is available
I love bananas, durian, blueberries, cherries, papaya, watermelon

BAD MONO MEAL CHOICES

fruit that I don’t like
unripe fruit
fruit that contains oxalic acid rhubarb, or starfruit

MY MONO MEAL RULES

1. always organic, I would never settle for less
2. I only eat fruit that I like
3. only fresh, local and seasonal
4. eating clean otherwise make the mono meal taste better
the taste buds are more sensitive if I didn’t have salt, vinegar or sour things, grilled stuff, coffee, spices, sugar, or anything artificially sweet before eating a mono meal
5. approximately one third of my daily calorie intake
