Portobello Pilze sind keine eigene Pilzart, sondern werden anders gez\u00fcchtet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Portobello-Pilze wachsen etwas l\u00e4nger als normale Champignons. Bei normalen Champignons sind die Lamellen noch versteckt und zeigen sich erst, wenn die Portobellos gr\u00f6\u00dfer und reifer sind. Dann sind die gro\u00dfen dunklen Lamellen, die die Portobello-Pilze ausmachen, sichtbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Geschmack sind Portobello Pilze kaum von normalen Champignons zu unterscheiden. Ich habe die  Portobellos in den USA im Zweierpack immer bei Whole Foods bekommen und in Deutschland vermisst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dann pl\u00f6tzlich gab es die Portobello Pilze aus dem Biomarkt in Berlin und etwas sp\u00e4ter auch in den Biosuperm\u00e4rkten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mittlerweile sehe ich die Portobello Pilze in fast allen berliner Biosuperm\u00e4rkten. Da ist es manchmal verlockend, Portobello Pilze zu kaufen, wenn diese schon nicht mehr superfrisch aussehen. Die R\u00e4nder der Portobello Pilzesollten nicht dunkel oder matschig sein. Die dunklen Lamellen verbergen den Frischestatus der Portobello Pilze etwas, aber ich kann sehen und f\u00fcllen ob diese matschig sind. Dann lasse ich die Portobello Pilze liegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zum Braten w\u00e4ren die Portobello Pilze wahrscheinlich noch gut, aber f\u00fcr den Rohverzehr nicht. Ich w\u00fcrde die Pilze in ein feuchtes Tuch einwickeln und in einer Dose im K\u00fchlschrank aufbewahren. Diese methode sorgt daf\u00fcr, dass die Portobello Pilze nicht austrocknen.
